QUICK FACTS:

Former software industry entrepreneur (MicroPro, Surpass/QuattroPro, HotelTech, Socrates) and corporate executive (SONY, Northern Telecom) who began working for legislation in Richmond with the Route 17 truck ban and more recently to rid Virginia of gas chambers for euthanasia. The gas chamber bill was a true bipartisan effort with 42 co-patrons, and by year end, gas chambers will be no more.

No outside or special interest money is in this campaign. Contributors are instead urged to donate to the Piedmont Environmental Council, Virginians For Animal Welfare or the charity of their choice.

Because Senator Potts isn't running, and other moderate Republicans have retired or been defeated, Marro decided to run so 27th District voters had a Potts moderate to represent them.
